If you don't want to see any of your own pages listed use this string:
link:antion.com/ -url:antion.com (note there is a space between the forward slash / and the minus sign - )
If you want to have this done automatically and emailed to your regularly go to http://www.linkpopularity.com/ It handles Alta Vista, Go/Infoseek (same thing) and HotBot.
For Excite Search Engine simply type www.yourdomain.com in the search box
For HotBot http://hotbot.lycos.com there are three ways.
1. You can use the above site http://www.linkpopularity.com
2. You can use this string in the search box linkdomain:antion.com or if you don't want links from your own domain to show up in the results use this string linkdomain:antion.com -domain:antion.com (there is a space between the .com and the minus - sign.
3. Type your entire URL http://www.antion.com in the search box. Go to the "Look For" drop down box on the left of the screen and click on "links to this URL."
I'm really proud of my link performance and it's one of the reasons my site stays highly ranked. In Hotbot I show over 1000 incoming links. In many of the others I'm over 200. This is becoming more and more important for high rankings, so do whatever you can to get those links coming into your site.
Special Note: For some unknown reason the number of links you see coming into your site can vary considerably from day to day and even from minute to minute. Don't freak out if this happens. It's normal.
