questions to ask before you choose your shopping cart
a Will the shopping cart verify the format of email addresses and credit card numbers?
a Will the cart process credit cards online rather than just storing them for later manual processing?
a Whose merchant account will the cart use?
a Does it do real time processing?
a How soon will you get paid?
a Can you decide which fields in the order form are optional?
a Can you insert fields for specialized info. if you want to like "How did you hear about us?" or something like that.
a How easy is it to put in products?
a Can you give me a list of web sites that use this system? (If they won't do this, then run away quick! There is no legitimate reason they would not send you to one of their merchant’s stores.)
