Internet Marketing -- Link Trade Strategy

"Link trade strategy" is where your site and another site are
"hyperlinked" (usually underlined blue text). This means on
either website you can click on a link and go to the other
website. A link trade strategy is designed to help both parties.
By the way, I'm not a bad guy with whom to link, since I've
already got tens of thousands of people a month coming to my
site.

I put my links button near the bottom of my navigation buttons.
I'm not going to put someone else’s picture next to mine. They
might be better looking than I am. I want the first shot at the
business. I don't want my link trade partner to get the first
shot at the business. If the visitor to my site decides
they don't want me, I'm happy to turn it over to somebody who's
working with me.

One thing about links is that it’s a much more stable, dependable
and reliable method of getting people to come to your web site
than depending totally on search engine traffic.

Another big advantage of trading links is that many search
engines are giving you higher rankings if you have lots of links
coming into your site. They figure that it must be a good site if
so many people have bothered to link to it.

I'll trade links with anybody that’s not a porn site. If you go
to my link page, you will see many other people who feel the same
way.

If I haven't sold the visitor on my great site and what I do, I
would be happy to send them to Paul Radde, my friend in Fort
Washington. I don't want to give Paul my business, but I don't
mind giving him a shot at business that did not want me. For the
same reason, I don't want to take Paul's business. I want a shot
at the business that did not want him.

If you and I trade links, that link will be there forever, unless
we just close up our sites. If I make a deal with someone and we
both trade links, great, we help each other out. I don't have to
be checking every day as I do with the search engines, and hoping
that, "Oh my god, I hope I did not lose a position today." It is
there forever.

I want to link with you, and you should trade links with others.
