From My Associate Program Mistakes
When I started my associate program I was sure I was going to be rich instantly. I thought, "I have a big list of speakers. They will all sign up and sell my stuff and I'll be rich in no time." HA!!! The mistake in my thinking was that I didn't know at the time that most of the speakers web sites suck and don't get much traffic. This is a numbers game. If you aren't getting traffic, no one will click through to my site and neither one of us will get any sales. You'll get mad and quit and I'm back where I started.
The lesson learned here is that you shouldn't fool around signing up people that have no traffic to their site. One high traffic site could make you many thousands of dollars per month. Do whatever you can to make deals with high traffic sites and you'll have much quicker success with associate programs. The AssocTrac system above does give you a great sales course with it.
